CoEFTL to Co-organize the International Food Marketing Research Symposium (IFMRS) 2025 in Athens

The upcoming International Food Marketing Research Symposium (IFMRS) 2025 will be co-organized by the Center of Excellence in Food, Tourism & Leisure (CoEFTL) of the The American College of Greece (ACG) at ALBA – Athens Lab of Business Administration. Set to take place in the vibrant city of Athens from June 17-19, 2025, this landmark event will be organized in partnership with the MAPP Centre of Aarhus University, with coordination on the CoEFTL part led by its Executive Director Athanasios Krystallis.

IFMRS serves as a global forum for the latest developments in food marketing research, featuring peer-reviewed academic presentations from leading scholars and industry experts. This year, in the historic and culturally rich setting of Athens, IFMRS will bring together participants to delve into key themes in Consumer Behavior, Marketing Strategy, Agribusiness, Pricing, Advertising and Promotion, and Sustainability/Ethics—all essential for the advancement of food marketing practices.

Event Schedule:

  • June 17: Opening Welcome Reception at ACG’s historic Plaka building, offering attendees a warm introduction to Athens’ unique blend of culture and innovation.
  • June 18-19: Two days of dynamic sessions and presentations, followed by an evening dinner on June 19th.
  • June 20: A special post-conference event, details of which will be announced closer to the event.

The symposium will highlight thought-provoking sessions, networking opportunities, and collaborative discussions aimed at advancing food marketing research.
