The transformative role of Classroom Response Systems (CRS) in undergraduate education was the subject of a recent conference presentation by Irene Karayianni. With a focus on the use of Quizizz in a Human Learning and Memory course at an American college in Greece, Karayianni highlighted how CRS tools foster greater interactivity and engagement among students. From acting as icebreakers to facilitating discussions and assessments, the CRS was shown to improve the understanding of complex psychological concepts while incorporating elements of gamification.
