Dr. Toula Perrea, is an Assistant Professor at the American College of Greece (ACG) and a member of the Center of Excellence in Food, Tourism And Leisure, CoEFTL. Prior to that, she has been a Research Associate at Aarhus School of Business, Departments of Marketing & Statistics and Business Administration, Aarhus University, Denmark. Toula has also served the industry (tobacco and food sector as well as research field) at various managerial positions.

Her scientific interest focusses on food marketing and consumer behavior in the area of innovation and product development. Her work comprises +18 international peer-reviewed research publications, most in ASB and ISI-ranked Journals. Her work has been cited more than 830 times with h-index 9. Dr Perrea has also participated in a number of European Projects funded by EU within the framework of FPs 5, 6, and 7 and currently Horizon 2020, and the Danish Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation, EIT Food (European Institute of Innovation and Technology) conducting research in crosscountry contexts in the area of food. Currently, Toula, is also a freelancer practitioner in the research domain, acting as a consultant in marketing research.
